Snowmobile Trail Bridge Re-opens

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has re-opened the bridge that was temporarily closed so replacement railing could be installed. The decking on the bridge was also replaced.

Now opens up Trail 2 leading to and from Dickinson County  to Florence County on the Wisconsin side of the river. The bridge work was completed over a month early. K & M Industrial of Gladstone was the contractor on the project.


Because the bridge is narrower after the repairs, it is now designated as "one way traffic". Users will now stop at the bridge and yield to any oncoming traffic.


With our recent snowfall, the opening of this bridge is perfect timing for snowmobile users to enjoy our great trail conditions!
